think of the bigscreen beyond, add hand tracking, inside-out tracking, and a 20W computer running ubuntu, and you get the daemon. atm you can check the status of this project on my x page. alternatively you can come and chat on the StardustXR Discord where I have a channel.

checkout the bottom render of daemon and click on any part you are interested in. there are atm 3 custom designed boards. that is the carrier, the USB2.0 Hub, and the USB2.0 injector (injects USB2 lanes into a type-c connection via a FFC cable).

the next goals on my roadmap are to
1. integrate the USB PD (takes input from powerbank and outputs power to the carrier) onto the carrier board itself, and
2. design my own display driver board with the USB2.0 Hub and USB2.0 injector all on one PCB.

software stuff will also be open source when I get to it. that includes the device tree for the carrier, patches for the jetson linux BSP, bootloader configs, instructions on how to build monado and so on. stay tuned or push me to it.

I'm also working on a small SlimeVR FBT.
